Pirates on Paradise!

Many, many months ago Cindy said "let's do another Krewe Cruise" and now, reams of paper and days of phone calls later we are ready to sail.  I have a group of 81 people and I have printed, reconciled, printed reconciled  printed...you get it... the details about this group over and over again.  I have tortured the data into submission and now...

...It's time to leave the reports at home and sail off to 4 fun filled days on the Carnival Paradise.  Mother Nature has been kind to us and the tropics, at least in the Caribbean, are calm.  At sea tomorrow, then Cozumel for the day on Saturday, back to sea and home on Monday.  I am looking forward to good times with good friends and bet I have several good stories to tell!

 This will be my first attempt at posting to this blog via the ship's satellite connection so wish me luck!

Time is running out...

Just a day left before the special rate I have on the Trans-Atlantic cruise from Tampa on April 7, 2013 runs out.  Join us?

I get hundreds (yes hundreds) of emails a day.  I skim some of the ones that are "chain" like emails and sometime find a gem.  Here's what I just read that I thought was appropriate for this little blog...

When we travel, we travel with 3 maybe 4 cameras.  It's not like film you know.  Click, click, click...take as many shots as you want it doesn't cost anything more to take 1,747 instead of 36.  And, so, we do.  And come home.  And become overwhelmed with the thousands of images.  And do nothing with them.  So, I am  resolved to try to do better.  Here's a start from a wonderful trip.  Editing these brought back lots of great memories and, I hope, will keep me motivated to keep editing.  Hope you enjoy!
